wlaidlaw Posted March 25, 2016 Author Share #21  Posted March 25, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Peter,  Myanmar is a country just really starting on the tourist venture and the locals have not yet become blasé, bored or even irritated with having their photos taken and positively seem to welcome being photographed, with loads of smiles and waves. I can imagine plenty of other countries where the SL and Bazooka would seem over intrusive, if not dangerous. There were a number of areas in Burmese Museums and the inner sanctums of some temples, where photography was forbidden.
