stuny Posted March 19, 2016 Share #1 Posted March 19, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Actually I've identified two, and the one of vultures is on the roof of a church making me wonder if they were awaiting terminal sinners. There's also the Blue gray tanager, the Amazon kingfisher and the panacalcana. Welcome, dear visitor! Iduna Posted March 20, 2016 Share #3 Posted March 20, 2016 Stuart, amazing series! No 1 is awesome as well as no 5. The black vultures are impressive and yet the camera can capture fine details.
david strachan Posted March 20, 2016 Share #4 Posted March 20, 2016 Great pics Stuart. Very nice, you're getting good at this. Can't see any Penguins this time. Love the first one and the Turkey thing. All best Dave S

stuny Posted March 21, 2016 Author Share #6 Posted March 21, 2016 Iduna, David & Wallace - Thank you. #1 is some unidentified hummingbird - I understand that the bird book of Colombian birds has 32 pages of hummers. #5 is a blue gray tanager, which were all over the place in the coffee production region where we saw #1, 3 & 5. The last, a "turkey thing" is a Pavacaucana, whatever that is.
Hunebed Posted March 22, 2016 Share #7 Posted March 22, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) I like the shot of the turkeything best, nice focus on the eye that you caught the light falling through. I help later with the names as soon as find time.
