Louis Posted March 10, 2016 Share #2 Posted March 10, 2016 Ece, I really love this shot. Putting the gorgeous colors and the IQ aside, the composition with different geometrical shapes also is absolutely superb. I also love the way you played with shades and lights in your composition! allamande Posted March 11, 2016 Author Share #8 Posted March 11, 2016 Louis, Adam, K.-H., Robert, Stuart, and those who hit "the" button, Thank you for your thoughts and generous comments. Much appreciated. It's interesting that Louis and K.-H. mention hiking and altitude. It did occur to me at the time, the similarities between the sun coming up over a canyon with the light slipping through various openings along the cliff face and eventually filling the whole canyon, and the early sunlight moving into city blocks, filtering through tall buildings to reach down to the streets... Spotting the city hiker down below was an added bonus. Ece
Iduna Posted March 11, 2016 Share #9 Posted March 11, 2016 Ece, this is a very special light effect as an integral part of the composition. The spotlight on the colorful cars is just the exclamation mark. Great saturated colouirs.
