The Sheep: why have the fence line cut through the sheep? but it works! yet it caught my eye because I realized that my instinct would have immediately driven me to lean in or step forwards shoot closer place the sheep in the clear, visible above the fence line. And I would have completely missed the shot you achieved, oblivious to it’s potential. Was it a conscious decision on your part?

Perhaps this should have been posted in the February 'Shadows' thread, but I  have always felt that observers in this thread tend to look at images with somewhat 'different eyes'.

wow, this just looks like the kind of image I’d expect to see on the cover of a b&w photography magazine - an example of capture of shape, form, light from shadows to highlights

I like fences, stakes, poles or power lines in my pictures. (Please find an example in the M9M thread: click).

What I remember is my decision to include the fence and the pole on the right in the picture... but the "sheep cut"... can't remember that...
