I like the textural stuff Gerbs, but i think needs to be set in contextural view to show it as an erratic.  Maybe straia (glacial grooves) showing on Granite? Just can't tell from the picture.

Erratics tend to show flat faces cut onto the boulders caused by glaciers grinding them off against the country rock. Enough of that.

Just needs a step back, i suggest. Still nice..😃

Here's the same rock at a different time, with a pinhole lens. Around the northeast of the US, erratics show up as big boulders sitting on the surface, where the were dropped by glaciers. Out west you see more of the scouring that you note. Sometimes, if you're very lucky, you find a gold nugget glacial erratic... actually only one that I've ever read about in Maine, and it was a big one the size of a loaf of bread, on a beach.
