Stamford Cheese Shop, St Mary's Street, Stamford, Lincs., UK    ... selling artisan cheeses, wines and Havana cigars. The Stinking Bishop cheese is made by Charles Martell & Son in Dymock, near Ledbury in Gloucestershire and costs £30 per pound; likely the most 'fragrant' cheese on sale in the UK.

https://myblogofcheese.wordpress.com/2011/12/25/day-55-stinking-bishop/.  ... an 'acquired taste' so might go down well with some Leica enthusiasts ;)

Church of Our Lady and St. Augustine, Broad Street, Stamford, Lincs., UK.

Designed by Geoge Goldie 1862; opened 1864. Picturesque Gothic bell turret is the 'external focus' of the building.

Nice to see that it was designed in Corinthian architectural style with Acanthus leaves in the entablature rather than the more plane Doric or Ionic styles.

Pete.

Thank you Pete. I will photograph the bell turret again with a longer lens to provide more emphasis and form to the Acanthus leaves. BW, dunk
