Perceval Posted March 3, 2016 Share #1  Posted March 3, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have acquired a Third-Version 50mm Summicron where the three grub screws around the barrel (below the aperture ring) all project a little rather than being flush with the barrel. Is this normal or does it suggest that a previous owner has been fiddling with it for some reason? If so, presumably I should have it serviced
Advertisement Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 Hi Perceval, Take a look here 50mm Summicron grub screws. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
lct Posted March 4, 2016 Share #2  Posted March 4, 2016 Depending upon the copies, some screws of the 50/2 # 11817 are prominent, others not. If the screw is tightened i would not worry about that.  Welcome, dear visitor! Perceval Posted March 4, 2016 Author Share #3  Posted March 4, 2016 Many thanks, Ict; I was hoping someone would say that! So no need to have it serviced, on the basis of "if it's not broken don't fix it.
