I recently purchased a Leica Q and proceded to installed the free adobe lightroom in my computer now I would like to install Lightroom in my phone and tablet to be synchronized but I don't see anywhere in my mobile devices the option to use the same free lincence given by Leica.

Can some one advice how to do it?

I don't know all the answers, but I do know that a fully synchronising Lightroom installation on your tablet (iPad?) and computer will ultimately require a monthly paid subscription to Adobe CC as the free version supplied to us is a perpetual standalone version which doesn't support tablets.    However, there is a trial version of Tablet LR, (and quite a few other Adobe apps) which have limited-time functionality. Go to the Adobe website to find these apps.    Search the forum to find other discussions on this topic.

Someone else may be able to provide more insight.

VSCO and Snapseed are very useful apps for on the go jpg editing.  Using AirDrop, I I transfer JPEGS from Lightroom after I've processed Raw on my laptop.   Somehow, I've managed to keep The tablet version of LR going, but synchronisation is disabled. It still allows access to my jpg camera roll and useful editing .  Photoshop Express is also useful. In fact, I've got too many image tools!

Also Photospector.

These are running on an iPad.  Not sure which are available for other operating systems.  Check your App Store.

Is there a good way to edit DNG's on a tablet/smartphone, without having to import into a PC first?

On Android the only serious app I know is PhotoMate R3; it is serious (opens the Q DNGs, corrects light curves including with a 4th way (aside the three colors) that I never saw elsewhere, allows layers, re-exports to jpgs etc.)

Of course it's easier to use with a tablet or a large phone than with a smaller form factor.

But in both cases, it can access the Q when connected in USB (assuming your device deals with USB on-the-go).

Remember that depending on the Android flavor you have, while Photomate will read from any place on the phone/tablet or on the connected Q, it'll only be able to save in the internal memory, which is an Android constraint... In other words: you won't be able to deal so easily with 100s of Leica Q DNGs, @ 40Mo each, unless you root your android device and access write rights on the ext. memory card.
