harryjiang Posted February 3, 2016 Share #1 Posted February 3, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) I picked up a Voigtlander 50 1.5 M mount version from ebay. Very disappointed, the lens is useable because of focus shift. Nothing is in focus. Now, I have 35/3/5 summaron, elmar-m 50/2.8 and 600-800 cash. Which lens do you guys suggest that I should go to? I just sold 35/2(eight element) and elmar 50/3.5. I am familiar with 28, 35 and 50 lens.

Nothing is in focus. Have you used the eBay/PayPal disputes procedure? I understand they are very good and it sounds as if you have a good case for a refund. IWC Doppel Posted March 1, 2016 Share #4 Posted March 1, 2016 The 28 Summicron is wonderful on the M9, the front element problems have never been an issue for me in 3 years and I suspect the new announced Summicron will make them a better buy. OP: why did you sell the 8 element? Legendary and good on M9. Just get another CV 50/1.5 with proper calibration. Nothing beats it for the price. The M-rokkor lenses are nice and not to pricey also.
