All M lenses work really well on the SL platform. The WATE offers continuous zoom and works brilliantly on the SL. What I like most about the WATE is the small size and weight. It's one of those lenses I can always keep in my bag in case I need it. Great for interesting angles, or super wide shots.

I shoot both M and SL platform and am mostly use 35 or 50mm prime lenses on either platform. I have a couple of SL zooms for 'job' work,  but they are very large. When shooting for pleasure, I favour the smaller M primes. Using a Visoflex rather than one of those 'frankenfinder' things for the WATE, means I can get the best out of it on the M too.
