Martin B Posted January 22, 2016 Share #1 Posted January 22, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Photo taken with my Leica M6 and Kodak Tri-X 400 film using the Leica 50/2 Summicron-M lens. The film was developed with Kodak D76. The negatives were digitized by photographing with Sony A7R and Sigma 105/2.8 macro lens. Post processing with B&W and channel inversion plus slight contrast adjustment. Welcome, dear visitor! StS Posted January 23, 2016 Share #3 Posted January 23, 2016 Charming. I like the portrait (the three ladies are visibly good friends) and the mix of textures (which were kept well by your post processing method). Just to get an alternative view (nothing wrong with this one), my suggestion would be to take a few more shots, where the symmetry is slightly more broken. This could work better, or not, only the experiement will show. Stefan

Unfortunately here I had to be fast - I didn't know them before I took the photo, they saw me with my camera and asked me if I could take a photo with one of their cellphones. I agreed but asked if I could take a shot with my camera afterwards. They were instantly agreeing to this, but there was no time to arrange anything. The whole shot was done in a few seconds after a quick (and fortunately precise) focusing with the lens. One of the girls recognized that I shoot film and found it great that somebody still does it! Lee Martin Posted January 25, 2016 Share #6 Posted January 25, 2016 Given the workflow that you've undertaken , this is in my humble opinion a great photo. They look natural and relaxed in each other's company and it has good tones and depth to it. I'm sure all three would be flattered by the photograph
