Dear Members I have shoot with F 8 Nochtilux 0.95 … and I have this small points on image. Is it corrosion of sensor or just a dust?

It is a very, very, very dirty sensor.

Sensors tend to get dirty most when the camera is new, it will slow, but regular cleaning is a must and something like an Arctic Butterfly brush is ideal. And it requires no skill or bravery to use.

With that amount of dust I would suck and not blow. For normal maintenance the Rocket Blower is my companion too

But why not go back to your dealer with it, quite a price you paid

In my case, living remotely, going back to the dealer each time needed cleaning would be a 4 hour round trip!  I did complain to them, however.  The Rocket blower works great.

Thank you :) I bought MM in Hamburg Leica Shop so I live in Geneva… but I have nice people in Leica shop in Geneva. I hope they know what to do :).

But I thing Rocket blower is a best solution. I am not really want touch sensor.

Thank you again.

Dust and potentially shutter lubricant drops. Blow with a Giottos rocket or similar first. If there are any oil drops (won't go away by blowing), wet clean using the Eclipse solution on sensor swabs. Dirt on sensor is not unusual - in fact it is typical for new Leicas, unfortunately. I've had to wet clean them all within weeks or days of buying them, incl. the S bodies, the M240/M246 and the M9s before...I've never experienced the problem at this level with any other camera brand (bought a heavily discounted new old stock Nikon D4 today...checked the sensor first thing after unpacking - it is pristine).

Bottom line - learn to wet clean the sensor yourself, otherwise you'll be running to the dealer all the time. In my experience, the problem will gradually diminish after the first six months of using the camera, probably as all the loose bits, dirt, flakes of paint and excess lubricant get released and cleaned away.
