Advertisement Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Hi 38wadcutter, Take a look here How to tell firmware updates in leica q and x-vari?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
lucerne Posted January 6, 2016 Share #2 Posted January 6, 2016 For the Leica Q. Ready? switch on. press "menu" use the 4 way direction control to scroll down through the menu. On the third page you will see the option " Camera Information". Move to that option. Press the select button in the centre of the 4 Way selector and you will see "Firmware Version". Press the select button again to examine the information. It will probably be version 1, but there is now Version 1.1 which you can download to your computer from a link in the forum. There are instructions on the forum describing the upgrade process. Hope that helps. I don't own the X-vario, but I expect it will be a similar process. pop Posted January 6, 2016 Share #3 Posted January 6, 2016 On the X Vario: Press the "Menu/Set" button. Scroll down to the end of the menu. The second entry from the bottom shows the software version number.
