Steve Ricoh Posted January 5, 2016 Share #3 Posted January 5, 2016 Nice captures of inocent childhood. Don't know what it's like in the U.S., but here in the UK it's definitely a no-no to take pictures of children, anywhere. I would never, ever point a camera at a child, or a teenager. Iduna Posted January 6, 2016 Share #6 Posted January 6, 2016 Hank, These pictures are so appealing - nice that you shared them with us. Here, yes, I was scolded by a man keeping a Pony Riding Business during the Christmas Market. But by then I had the pictures I wanted. I think something is going wrong here in our society. Not everybody is going to missuse pictures and should be blamed being criminal. This being sick in the mind should not overpower human reason. I think whoever goes out on the street has to become aware that he or she is part of the public life. If somebody is afraid of being on pictures people should stay at home. Here a professional photographer started fundraising through the internet for clearing an issue in favour of streetphotography. He and the majority claim that these pictures are showing of lot of the present culture. Your pictures are a proof that this is true showing all the different life these children have compared to our Western world. Please Keep going! Steve Ricoh Posted January 6, 2016 Share #7 Posted January 6, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) When you look at old photographs from yesteryear, some of which show children playing with an old bicycle tyre, kicking a tin can around in an urban setting, they are proof that children were part of humanity. I wonder in 25 or 50 year's time whether people will look back at our records and wonder, did children cease to exist in the early years of the 21st centuary. It's so crazy now that I feel very uncomfortable if a child sits next to me on public transport, so much so I'd prefer to move.
