bap Posted May 30, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted May 30, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) can anyone give me advice on the best images between the two. I know the raw advantage but I hear the D-lux is not very sharp and advice would be great.

If you can wait a few months, New C-lux 3 or D-lux 4 will coming soon. because panasonic provide a new 12.2pix (FX-100) in mid of june.

dspeltz Posted May 31, 2007 Share #4 Â Posted May 31, 2007 The D Lux 2 is supersharp and an extraordinary camera. The Clux is fine too but i go for raw. If the user will not use raw, use the C Lux. Â You cannot lose with either. Â I do not know the D Lux3 but assume it is just as good or better.
tommycrown Posted May 31, 2007 Share #5 Â Posted May 31, 2007 Owning Both Clux Series And Dlux Series, If It's For A Girl, Get C-lux, For A Boy, Get Dlux. Â If Size Matters, Get Clux. Â Dlux Is Faster And Sharper In Image, But Some People Don't Think It Is Small Enough To Be A Point And Shoot Camera Unless You Have A Granpa Shirt Pocket In Every Shirt You Wear. Â I agree completely! I have a C-Lux1 that gets carried in a pants pocket and a Panasonic LX1 that gets carried in my briefcase (or occasionally in a Leica leather case on my belt) as it's far too large to fit in the pocket of any clothing I ever wear... jsjxyz Posted June 1, 2007 Share #7 Â Posted June 1, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) D-Lux 3 is a very good camera as long as you shoot below ISO 400. Â High ISO 800 and above is really unaccaptable. Â Jerry
