michali Posted December 27, 2015 Share #21  Posted December 27, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Canon 50mm f1.4  -I have the Type 2 manufactured around 1972. A wonderful lens, good contrast, sharpness, gorgeous rendering and built like a tank! I highly recommend this lens.
Advertisement Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Hi michali, Take a look here Good Non Leica LTM lenses?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
horosu Posted December 28, 2015 Share #22 Â Posted December 28, 2015 That's one that I've always been curious about. How does it differ from a Noctilux in terms of rendering? It is definitely crisper, more contrasty and sharper than Noctilux 1.0, however the latest version (0.95) should better it, but I've no personal experience with that. Then there is also the fact that the 60mm lens has a more pronounced telephoto effect.
Aoresteen Posted January 5, 2016 Share #23  Posted January 5, 2016 28mm 1.9 Voigtlander is very good, according to Erwin Puts its better than any Leica 28 until the aspherics.  Gerry  I have one, Putts is right - it's a great lens. But it is big! I use it on my M4-P. Aoresteen Posted January 5, 2016 Share #24  Posted January 5, 2016 I once tried the canon ltm 28mm f2.8 and was horribly disappointed. The 27mm summaron is far superior as a daylight lens  The 28 f/2.8 Canon LTM is a cult lens because Gary Winogrand used one. I skipped it and just bought the Canon Serenar 28mm f/3.5 which is reported to be better than the 28mm f/2.8. I sent it out for a CLA so it will be awhile before I get to use it.
