Hunebed Posted December 14, 2015 Share #2 Posted December 14, 2015 This could be an awsum picture, but it is not sharpat all. Maybe something went wrong with uploading? I experienced the same löss of sharpness in uploading my last picture in the trees thread.
Michael Geschlecht Posted December 14, 2015 Share #3 Posted December 14, 2015 Hello Bill, Nice photo. The problem with your photo's image structure noted by Hunebed in the Post just above is still there. Best Regards, Michael

platypus Posted December 15, 2015 Share #5 Posted December 15, 2015 This could be an awsum picture, but it is not sharpat all. Might be just the result of a very large crop pushing things to the limit? The birds are so well positioned that it really doesn't matter if the image isn't perfect. While it is a disturbed view it on my ipad.
Northwest Wanderer Posted December 15, 2015 Author Share #7 Posted December 15, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks all. The image is not sharp. I'm not sure what went wrong. Maybe the excitement of watching them. It was enjoyable to view these birds in the field.

Michael Geschlecht Posted December 16, 2015 Share #9 Posted December 16, 2015 Hello Again Bill, The image seems to have "sharpened up" somewhat since my previous Post. Not quite all of the image degradation is gone but the image is noticeably better. Best Regards, Michael
Iduna Posted December 17, 2015 Share #10 Posted December 17, 2015 Bill, great picture in spite of its technical deficiencies. You captured a good moment of action If it is a crop, then try to upload again using all 1000 Kb which is the maximum forum size. I think the problem is high compression, you can reduce lenght and width but with max jpg quality and thus avoid artefacts
