I really like the first shot....I like the bubbles or whatever as you look up....I wonder if you can erase the two on either side of his nose but keep the rest....they add to the shot as if 'if it coming down on you'...

 

The last shot ...wow...what a face, good contrast....nice going all around, jim

I took just 2 photos and one happened to be the way the you mentioned.

I like both shots. I think I favored the shot with the bubbles in front of the face because it felt more like he was in the mix.

Either way though I think it works.
