Advertisement Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 Hi Louis, Take a look here New York City; today's reality, alas! ... . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted November 20, 2015 Share #2 Posted November 20, 2015 Excellent. Of course, Times Square is one of the country's most likely targets.

euston Posted November 20, 2015 Share #4 Posted November 20, 2015 Good photos, Louis! You’ve become a T master. In the second shot the way the focus falls away from the crisp officer to the slightly oof background is very effective. Whichever lens that is, it’s serving you well. gbealnz Posted November 20, 2015 Share #5 Posted November 20, 2015 Hmmmm, "Louis, the T Master", now there's a title. Nicely done though, I must say. Nikkors? Times like this I am happy to live in a quiet little backwater, out of the way. Gary
Iduna Posted November 20, 2015 Share #6 Posted November 20, 2015 Louis, quite a good pair of reportage photos. The bw rendering makes it focussed on the subject without the distraction colours of that location. These days we all have that strange feeling of uneasiness.... Stuart, thank you very much. TS is the most likely target, indeed; but I was very happy to see people still having fun and not giving up. :-( Yes, my friend; we are living in a crazy world! Whichever lens that is, it’s serving you well. You are so encouraging, dear Robert; thank you so much! But I still have a few questions about T and also very disappointed that some issues were not addressed in the latest firmware. T could be a much better tool if we had a focus peaking and an exposure area for MF lenses; I often have problem to find the right exposure!... Also, I am still trying to find the exact function of the right dial. It is being useless for me at this time. If only I could use it for changing ISO or Exposure Compensation! ... Gary Dear Gary, your encouragement is very much appreciated; Thanks a lot. That day, I only had my Angenieux zoom 35-70 mm, f/2.5, with me and it was quite heavy and large for my walking around. Actually, when I was in the Leica Store, I put my T next to SL and that big zoom; and, they were the same size!!! ... Welcome, dear visitor! I actually took these shots after the sunset, and as you, in NY it is often quite dark due to tall buildings. Besides the light, I agree with you that B/W is more proper for this kind of pictures.... The wold is going more crazy every day, and I am glad to see people not giving up!
 Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! robert blu Posted November 22, 2015 Share #10 Posted November 22, 2015 Interesting photo, nice to see the T works well in the correct hands... I specially like in the second photo the serious expression on the face of the officer...yes, unfortunately are not the best moments... robert
Louis Posted November 23, 2015 Author Share #11 Posted November 23, 2015 Robert, much appreciated. T is actually a very interesting camera that I really enjoy shooting with. I am only using old manual lenses and they work quite well!
