pop Posted November 16, 2015 Share #21 Posted November 16, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I don't think you'd even get any dental floss in there. The gap between the collar of the release button and the bellows is really, really narrow. I tried to get a watchmaker's tool in there. It would't go in there but earned me a scratch on the collar. As soon as one should find something thin enough to fit through the gap, it will be too weak and to push down, assuming that you could apply leverage through 90 degrees, which not. Also it could never have a shape to push the button in. The only thing I could think of would be something extrememly thin and inflatable like is used endoscopically in vascular surgery. cldp Posted November 16, 2015 Share #23 Posted November 16, 2015 I was able to remove that bellows using a very thin knife blade, very carefully. For future use, I had a machinist drill a small hole thru the flange that obstructs the lens release button. A wooden toothpick will then be able to press the button without fear of scratching.
