Advertisement Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Hi andybarton, Take a look here Leica Store City (Royal Exchange). I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
wattsy Posted September 25, 2015 Share #2 Posted September 25, 2015 Might as well go where the money is (if you are Leica and sell expensive baubles). Not sure how much Red Dot will appreciate the opening of a store here.
earleygallery Posted September 25, 2015 Share #3 Posted September 25, 2015 They're obviously expecting the new camera to do well, although given that Leica can rarely meet demand for new product I do wonder at the financial benefit in having yet another store that can't sell people what they want to buy! As for the blurb I did laugh at this - "Our stores are places where new and existing Leica owners can meet our team of experts, and discuss how to become a better photographer by using the best photographic products". Now, I've actually yet to visit one of the Leica stores, but for those of you who have, did the visit make you a better photographer? Buy a Leica and become a better photographer! If only it were that simple, but I guess a lot of people think spending more equals better results.
stevelap Posted September 25, 2015 Share #4 Posted September 25, 2015 Replaces the 'pop up' store that was in Burlington Arcade no doubt.
wda Posted September 25, 2015 Share #5 Posted September 25, 2015 Mayfair and Manchester Leica specialist stores do run day courses for the benefit of Leica owners or aspirants. Not sure whether they fulfil that claim though. I doubt many courses can. Becoming a good photographer involves rather more than understanding how to operate the camera and choose a lens. Manoleica Posted September 25, 2015 Share #6 Posted September 25, 2015 Another store will not speed up Wetzlar repairs or magically have Q's waiting on the shelf..
