imported_peter_m Posted August 1, 2006 Author Share #3 Posted August 1, 2006 Thank you John, That was the intent, its not that easy to get that accomplished with the digital. Found the right flower on the right spot and the light was cooperating as well Peter
Guest rubidium Posted August 1, 2006 Share #4 Posted August 1, 2006 The sharp focus on the subject against the more diffuse background is striking. The only distraction is a slight bit of flare along the river over the small penninsula. Otherwise a great shot.
hm1912 Posted August 1, 2006 Share #5 Posted August 1, 2006 Great detail and composition to this shot. It occured to me to try and take a photo of something similar, after seeing this I think I'll try a bit harder.

imported_peter_m Posted August 2, 2006 Author Share #7 Posted August 2, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks James, llan and Stuart for commenting. James, That is one thing on the sumicron on the LC1 I found it is more prone to flare then my R lenses. llan, The flower was by itself on a high spot so that put the background a quit a distance away so I managed to get a nice dof in that picture. Stuart, Thank you for your comments. Peter
