Bokeh King comes a f4. Widely misquoted this title. Many, myself included thought it was king status at f2. Stupid.
IWC Doppel Posted August 21, 2015 Share #23  Posted August 21, 2015 I've used most but not all of Leica 35mm lenses. The gems for me are ;  Summilux AA - wonderful colouring, incredible 3D, super resolving in the centre and movement in the bokeh. I wish it wasn't so expensive, my copy was a lucky find at a Leica dealer. Wide open, close distance is mega. I will never sell my copy its number one on my list of keepers. Colour density continually surprises me  Summilux ASPH. Much underrated, lovely soft bokeh, resolving and great value, yes there's some focus shift but now more than most and I rarely found it a problem. Great wide open a good combination of classic rendering and modem resolution  Summicron mkIV lovely colouring no modern pink hues, incredible resolution in close proximity in the centre, the bokeh king is all about f4 IMO this is where image depth, bokeh and capturing the moment really gel. It's also supe for size and operation. You can bond with this lens. Pop a 12504 hood on and all is right with the world.  Summicron mkI - I need to buy one of these ! ........

I guess I would part with any other of my 28s, 50s and 90s before any of these two!
