lpeeples Posted August 11, 2015 Share #21 Â Posted August 11, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have some neoprene however, I was looking for thin pouches I can wrap for minimal protection but still avoid scratches etc. Â I found these.... they are great. algrove Posted August 12, 2015 Share #22 Â Posted August 12, 2015 Micro-fiber will probably not protect lenses from banging each other when in a bag next to each other. One microfiber with other lenses in neoprene will probably work OK. Â These are expensive lenses and as such I use the philosophy that it's better to over protect than get dented or scratched lenses/gear.
Edward Louis Marit Posted August 12, 2015 Share #23 Â Posted August 12, 2015 I used to store them in these leather pouches inside my pelican box at home but then everyone on this forum terrified me about fungus. So I took them out and put the pouches in a cupboard. Now I just keep them in the pelicase when at home, and when carrying them in my bag or traveling I wrap them in a neoprene wrap for protection. rapids41 Posted August 13, 2015 Share #24 Â Posted August 13, 2015 I am using the ones which coming with my Summarits. Maybe not perfect, but better than the leather ones. Or the one from my canon 1.4 Teleconverter is also nice.
algrove Posted August 13, 2015 Share #25 Â Posted August 13, 2015 I just remembered that I also have the small fiber zippered cases from Lensbaby which most smaller M lenses fit in perfectly. Also works with the Zeiss 18/4.
BjarniM Posted August 14, 2015 Share #26  Posted August 14, 2015 I would wholeheartedly recommend http://www.microlenspouch.com/.  I totally agree on this one  I bought two of them, since the original Leica pouches are a bit to big and fiddly to my taste, when in my bag, and the Micro Lens Pouches are great. gpwhite Posted August 14, 2015 Share #27 Â Posted August 14, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Mike Artisan & Artist cases are the best neoprene ones I've come across. They are serious & expensive cases for expensive Leica lenses. The bottoms have non slip surfaces as well as an interior section so the lens does not drop out unexpectedly. I also have and use Zing & Optech cases, but the A&A are the best. Â Lou, your advice has hit the bullseye in the past, so I just ordered a couple of these from David Farkas... Â amazing how hard it is to find A&A gear outside of Japan (and LeicaMiami). Â thanks!
