Color comparison Q versus X2

Hi all,

 

since I changed to the Q I wonder about the difference in colour I see in the JPEGs. Attached you find two Examples, all default settings in the Q and the X2. On my (not calibrated) monitor the melon from the X2 looks much more natural than from the Q (The Q-image promises much more than the melon actually offered. Taste was more X2-image like). At least the difference is astonishing. Is this what

Leica addressed in the Lightroom update? Or is something wrong with my Q?

Yes, it fixed it on DNG files but you can't select anything but the embedded profile on JPGs so I'm not sure anything was done to JPGs.  On DNGs the colors are more muted when the Adobe profile is selected.

I assume the profiles and jpg engine for that sensor are not yet optimized in regards of color.

I also found the Q images too contrasty and with too much saturation, specially in the greens.

I am sure it will further improve with firmware.
