Overgaard Posted July 31, 2006 Share #1 Posted July 31, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) I thought about testing my new skills in "metal skin" but I didn't do it yet ;-) R8, 80mm F/1.4 on 100 ISO Sensia runs as 200 ISO. The picture was manipulated a great deal in PS to remove artificaial light (yellow and red) and also lighened. The girl is a business owner who've started two shops in three years. It's or an article on franchising.

arne_s Posted July 31, 2006 Share #3 Posted July 31, 2006 Hello Thorsten, very nice. I like the framing and the composition of color. Regards, Arne
wda Posted July 31, 2006 Share #4 Posted July 31, 2006 Hi Thorsten, A very pleasing portrait but you tease us. Is it part of a series during which she pulls her products from the box? David

fotografr Posted July 31, 2006 Share #6 Posted July 31, 2006 I love the color, love the composition, love the expression, love the shallow DOF, but find myself wanting to see her hands.

Yup. That's the first thing I noticed too - hands free selling... Maybe she bites her finger nails... Otherwise, just right.
Overgaard Posted August 1, 2006 Author Share #8 Posted August 1, 2006 I see the point but it's the best expression so I'll go with this one. The box was placed there when I was playing with 35mm and she had hands on her legs. When I went to 80mm and moved my angle, so did she. The light is, by the way, a 100 cm silver reflector reflceting a halogen lamp in the ceiling onto her. I see it looks a bit like flash but it wasn't. Thanks for the comments. I really appeciate it.
