daveleo Posted May 22, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted May 22, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) hello again i just returned from vacation and the airline lost my luggage. among other things that were lost was the cable that attaches my Digilux2 to a computer, and also my battery charger. i found a replacement charger on the internet and ordered it, but i cannot find where to by a replacement computer cable. (B&H in new york is closed for the week, so I can't check with them.) Â any advice would be much appreciated .... the camera is out of production and I am getting seriously worried about this. Â is the Leica end connection (oposite USB end) a standard connector? is it possible to get a generic cable without melting some electronics? Â thanks for any help (or hope). Advertisement Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 Hi daveleo, Take a look here Cable for Digilux 2. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
MJLogan Posted May 22, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted May 22, 2007 I use the same USB cable thingy to attach my Digilux 3, my D-LUX (the original) my partner's Digilux 2, and the external hard drive on which my iTunes library lives (one at a time, obviously). So I'm guessing it's very standard.

Yes, it's a generic cable and you should be able to buy one at just about any decent consumer electronics store. They're also available very inexpensively on eBay if you're so inclined (just search for "LC1 USB cable" and you'll turn up lots of them).
