jbl Posted July 23, 2015 Share #1 Posted July 23, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I got the hand grip and noticed that having it on means you don't have to see the ugly regulatory markings on the bottom of the camera . I'm someone who takes the CE stickers off the bottom of my M's the second I get them.
Advertisement Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Hi jbl, Take a look here Extra advantage of the hand grip. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Overgaard Posted July 23, 2015 Share #2 Posted July 23, 2015 Good point. I think Leica should make a black protective sticker for the bottom plate so as to protect the eyes against the markings.

Ja, but I think the enviro police require that you demonstrate the ethical suitability of your equipment 24 x 7 x 365. They are everywhere now... we have three garbage bins (color coded) by municipal regulation in San Francisco. There is blue can garbage that can be very profitably recycled by the garbage industry. There is green can garbage that can thrown on the ground, but the mayor prefers to fuel the city buses with it (and they always run late). Finally, there is the brown can, where the old camera sensors go with things we don't want to look at. I saw cans like this at Leica Park, so I think the idea of hiding Leica's enviro markings probably would violate some sort of Wetlarischer Verordnung.
