jmahto Posted August 12, 2015 Share #201 Posted August 12, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) 120fps (you want a multiple of 30). Oh, and there is no shutter button, because the camera is always shooting. If you find a nice subject, then you just take note of the time and pick the frame you like best later, when you download the pictures. You can't miss the decisive moment, if you capture all moments. No.. there is a shutter button. There can be couple of modes... Non-cloud mode: Simply records time and place for further retrieval Cloud mode: Sends stack of frames around the time to the cloud. I am assuming that in 500mp, 120fps world there will be cloud everywhere. Feeling mode: Using the data from bio-metric sensors from your smart watch, it will record whether you are feeling And the camera will sync with other cameras in the area to give you real 3D immersive pictures that you can use in your virtual reality viewer later. kkonkkrete Posted August 14, 2015 Share #203 Posted August 14, 2015 Nah, you just need a time stamp in your 'virtual brain' backup device that stores a digital simulacrum of your entire brain state for the entire duration of your life in a deep convolution network... peterv Posted August 15, 2015 Share #204 Posted August 15, 2015 Ultimately Leica must move beyond the optical viewfinder. I think we all know that in our hearts. Looking back to the introduction of the M8, I am deeply impressed at how Leica has moved forward through the historical resistance, sludge, backwater of their heritage. Leica must be employing some true heavy-weight engineers we know nothing of. Perhaps we will learn of them. After all, lenses are not everything, especially now that the awesomely ugly Karbe editions have been released. Pico, please pardon my ignorance, but what's wrong with Mr. Karbe's designs? ramosa Posted August 15, 2015 Share #205 Posted August 15, 2015 Pico, please pardon my ignorance, but what's wrong with Mr. Karbe's designs? Pardon my jumping in here. Some think, in trying to make "the perfect lens," Karbe's lenses tend to be somewhat "clinical," especially in OOF rendering (e.g., Cron 75mm ASPH, Lux 35mm ASPH FLE). This was a fairly common observation when some folks were getting used to the original M monochrom and favored pre-Karbe lenses (e.g., designed by Mandler, Watz). Of course, this is all pretty subjective, so we're lucky to have so many darn great choices in terms of Leica lenses and their varied characters. Alan Aurmont Posted August 15, 2015 Share #206 Posted August 15, 2015 For lenses wider than 28mm and longer than 135mm.... It beats a Visoflex. Any EVF will beat a Visoflex for lenses wider than 35mm for sure. I'm confused, isn't Visoflex an EVF??
lct Posted August 15, 2015 Share #207 Posted August 15, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Leica kept the name "Visoflex" for its rebadged EVF but the real thing is slightly different.
