Will post an image when it is back. Is this something that anyone can do through a la carte, or do you need to have an "in"? The outcome will be brilliant brass - or whatever is below the paint. If you don't mind messing with now-illegal chemicals, get a high quality auto paint stripper and mix in formic acid. Submerge.
