This annual car show is the only time cars are allowed on State Street in my city. Otherwise, it's buses and bikes only.

A great series of prime old-timers.  Excellent composition, colors, details and sharpness.  Some of those collector cars bring back the memories.

Ah, good old Mad Town! I lived there in the early Sixties when State Street was open to traffic and I counted over 300 motorcycles, mostly Hondas, parked up and down the street.

Yes, I recall you mentioning your time here.. I think we may have been here at the same time. I started at the UW in the fall of 1963 but didn't go straight through. I had a brief stint with the Army, then came back, finished my degree and never left. I guess you were gone before the anti-war riots?
