yadillah Posted April 28, 2015 Share #1 Posted April 28, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) A slightly un usual question. Is there a way the Telyt can be used on the M240 without using the Visoflex? Is it possible by using extension rings?

jaapv Posted April 28, 2015 Share #2 Posted April 28, 2015 Novoflex LEM/VIS. Not a very unusual question. It has been asked and answered on the forum half a dozen times.
viooh Posted April 29, 2015 Share #3 Posted April 29, 2015 If you happen to already have an R->M adapter, a simple solution would also be to combine it with a Viso->R adapter (14167), which is not expensive. The combination has the same thickness as the Visoflex and is much cheaper then the Novoflex solution, provided you already have an R->M adapter. rafael_macia Posted May 8, 2015 Share #4 Posted May 8, 2015 280 4.8 Version III has a bayonet rear. Attach that to a 14127 or 14167 Leitz adapter, and attach that to the Leica R to M adapter. so 280 > 14127/or 14167 > Leica R to M 280 Here is a detailed discussion of the adapters http://photo.net/leica-rangefinders-forum/006ZtQ The adapters are around. I use a 14167 with a 65 Macro Elmar, and the R to M to use it on my 240, without a Visoflex. I also use a Viso III sometimes because I like a real focussing screen ..... sometimes .....rather than an electronic one, and focus peaking. Both ways (with or without Visoflex), has it's advantages Rafael http://photo.net/leica-rangefinders-forum/006ZtQ
