wparsonsgisnet Posted April 9, 2015 Share #1 Posted April 9, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I stumbled on this feature -- that I cannot find in the manual. When Live View is enabled, the Direction Pad can be used to add white framing lines to the viewed image. Clicking either UP or DOWN arrows, give you different frames: 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, and 7:6. If anyone can find this in the manual, yell. Best regards, Bill

Gibbo Posted April 9, 2015 Share #2 Posted April 9, 2015 I think it came with a firmware upgrade, Bill. That's why it isn't in the manual.
microview Posted April 9, 2015 Share #3 Posted April 9, 2015 Yes, mine does that now. Hadn't appreciated that you can alter them. Pressing centre button of course brings up useful level indicator (visible with the EVF too).
masjah Posted April 9, 2015 Share #4 Posted April 9, 2015 It's described in the documentation for the firmware upgrade.

jmahto Posted April 9, 2015 Share #7 Posted April 9, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I had accidentally pressed up/down and didn't know how to get rid off the lines. I figured it out without the manual. It is kind of intuitive
