Tom Barry Posted March 28, 2015 Share #1  Posted March 28, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Today was a head-and-shoulders portrait day for the great horned owl who is raising her brood at the entry to the LBJ Wildflower Center in Austin, Tx. This is the first time in the four years she has been raising her broods here that she has sat up enough for other than a head-shot pose. She even gave us a profile shot. Her eggs have hatched, but the chicks haven't made themselves visible yet. FZ1000:  Welcome, dear visitor!
