Here it is. 35 on M4-P.

35 and 50 together. As soon as I get my M2-R back from CLA, I'll have one big happy family.

SO, which body + lens did you shoot this with? Obviously, not film

In all my years posting and reading forums, this is the most random (but still sorta on topic) request I have ever read:

can you take a picture of the 50mm lux front, with back cap open? thanks

I interpret the request as asking of a photo of the lens taken directly from the front, with the rear lens cap off.

What aperture would you like that in?  f/1.4 or f/16?  ...or somewhere in between?  Why exactly would you like to see such a photograph?  Can you not use a regular 50 Summilux ASPH?  Does it have to be black chrome?  Why is the sky blue and the birds sing?  What is the meaning of life?

................................................

Alright, I'm being an arse.  I ought to behave and be nice.  But please bear with me, I'm just grumpy that I don't have my own* black chrome lens to fondle and caress so I take my frustrations out on other people.

Carry on.

*but soon my precious will be mine!!!  [enter evil grin]

Here is the 50mm Summilux ASPH in black chrome, on the M5. A perfect match, I feel.

Best wishes all,

Colin

IQ said to be indistinguishable but Steve Huff reviewing thought the chrome was built to tighter tolerances with positive effect on resolution.
