Advertisement Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Hi Doc Henry, Take a look here Street photo in 90 ME . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Manoleica Posted March 10, 2015 Share #2 Posted March 10, 2015 Hi, I would say successful, I have one very similar, taken with my D90, so cannot Post. The subject was my step daughters Graduation, a sea of black and orange behind her, with her face just in focus but full of movement.. It's one of our favorites. In fact I close cropped one print and it looked most satisfactory..
pauledell Posted March 10, 2015 Share #3 Posted March 10, 2015 Henry, I would say this is quite successful. the blur sets the stage for the mood and the predominately dark colors completes it. There's enough definition to recognize the fact it's a person and yet allows your imagination as to who it is or her purpose. Paul

Guest Posted March 14, 2015 Share #18 Posted March 14, 2015 Hi Henry, Try a street session again with (if I remember correctly) that lovely 50mm Summicron of yours. The focal length will give you that respectful distance but also allows you to be better "involved". But the first photo of the girl is indeed a success. :-) That Portra 160 gives stunning colours, by the way. Now *that's* a big success! Ric
