I have a feeling she slowly gives up on life. As always on a family gathering, I take portraits. Especially of the elder. The ones I made this time from my aunt weren’t really good. She didn’t care about herself and it showed in the images. This one is the best from this weekend I managed to make from her, her opening the door for me, welcoming me in her house. Blurred, but therefore making her more beautiful, more as she used to be. Photographic the image might be poor, but the personal feeling is strong. To me. And that’s what a portrait should be about.
