Rangefinder for 1A Elmar Close Focus?

How do people focus with a Leica 1A close focus Elmar 50?

 

I see mention of a close-focus version of the HFOOK rangefinder on the page linked below, but do not see any discussed or even advertised on the web.

Are these available or is there another way to focus a close focus Elmar 50?

Back to the topic, Leitz DID make a rangefinder of the "long" type with a dual scale (to 50 cm) to be used with an accessory lens (which made, within the RF mechanism, the same effect as the small RF superposed lenses of the well known NOOKY) : a rare and apparently uncoded item :

I don't know if it was made properly for the Leica 1 with close focus Elmar... btw, seems to me that the close focus Elmar had an Imperial distance scale (to 1,5 ft) which look inconsistent with the meter scale of the dual range rangefinder...:confused:
