ewan0304 Posted October 22, 2014 Share #1 Posted October 22, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi guys, Today I just received my voigtlander 35/2.5 spokar lens, as many users suggested the best way to use this lens on M240 is to code it as Summarit 35/2.5. However, I scrolled all the options available in the "Lens Detection" menu but did not find the Summarit 35/2.5 option. Does anyone have idea about this? BTW, I have the latest firmware installed in my camera. Thank you very much!
Advertisement Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Hi ewan0304, Take a look here No Summarit 35/2.5 code option in M240?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
DigitalHeMan Posted October 22, 2014 Share #2 Posted October 22, 2014 That particular lens was only available with 6 bit coding, so no reason to have a manual entry
lct Posted October 22, 2014 Share #3 Posted October 22, 2014 Just hand code your lens as 101011. Works fine for my ZM 35/2.8.

Mr. Thompson Posted October 23, 2014 Share #5 Posted October 23, 2014 I believe DigitalHeMan was referring Summarit being only available with six bit coding. Your Color Skopar (fabulous lens) can be hand coded. Voigtländer lenses have a groove milled into the flange so the coding will not wear off when mounting the lens to the camera.
