AlanJW Posted October 14, 2014 Share #1 Posted October 14, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) When the M240 came out there was discussion of putting a small (5mm) hemispherical bumper on the focus assist button to make it easier to find and press. I did that. It works. But now I need another and cannot find the strip I bought, nor do the posts I saw reveal where to get one. If someone can supply the source (Googling has not been fruitful) it would be much appreciated. My recollection is that it was a seller in Germany but that is as far as my recollection goes. Thanks. Dougg Posted October 20, 2014 Share #17 Posted October 20, 2014 These bumpers are readily available in various sizes from my local hardware store. They're often used on cabinet doors and drawers. I applied one to the top of my M next to the on/off switch to limit the travel to simply on or off. I did cut a section out of one side of the bumper button so it coul snuggle up against the side of the Leica's switch. Doug
Exodies Posted October 21, 2014 Share #18 Posted October 21, 2014 Did you push the bump out of the backing from the dome side or the sticky side? It's unfair of you to tease us with such a half baked un-boxing!
LocalHero1953 Posted October 21, 2014 Share #19 Posted October 21, 2014 Why all this focus on the bump that is used? The unused bumps have feelings too!
