jedisdl Posted May 7, 2007 Share #1 Posted May 7, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Does anyone have a good idea on how to remove the bluish-green corner color fringing when using an IR filter with the CV15 using PS? Thanks Steve

tashley Posted May 7, 2007 Share #4 Posted May 7, 2007 Do you have firmware 1.102 and IRfilter+ lens recognition switched on? Won't help him unless he's hand-coded his CV15, which most people have not yet been able to do cos of the cutaway on the mount adaptor...
jaapv Posted May 7, 2007 Share #5 Posted May 7, 2007 That's true Tim, I'm so happy with the results of John's adapter, completely clean with a Leica filter, that I tend to forget that we are not all so lucky...

sean_reid Posted May 7, 2007 Share #7 Posted May 7, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) It's not color fringing, it's cyan drift from the filter. John's adapter (coding the lens as a WATE and setting it to 16 mm) should help a lot. Cheers,

Any knowledge of his production schedule. I suppose I could email him but don't want to bother an already busy guy! Thanks. CD

scho Posted May 8, 2007 Share #12 Posted May 8, 2007 Thanks to John's custom 9cm codeable adapter I no longer have any problems with vignetting or cyan drift using the CV 15 (coded as 16mm WATE) with a B+W 486 filter (mounted now with an O ring). Here is a shot taken today with this setup in one of the local gorges. Terrible contrasty lighting that I corrected a little with a contrast mask, but no need for any cyan drift or vignetting correction in post thanks to the 1.102 in camera correction.
