JCophoto Posted September 24, 2014 Share #1 Posted September 24, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi everyone, I've been waiting to update my M9-P for quite a long time now and was delighted by the release of the new M-P (yes I know "delighted" is a strong word, I'm a bit over excited). I was planning to switch to a chrome body but it seems to be back-ordered everywhere. Do you know if someone has one and if not, when it would arrive in the US? Thanks a lot for your help. I've never had problems finding gear, even when in short supply, by diligently making dealer calls, especially to smaller but still well regarded dealers. But I'm not a frequent camera/lens shopper. I checked your other store, Dale Photo, before posting but I didn't see the M-P, and it listed the M in both finishes as out of stock. Otherwise I would have directed the OP. We have the black M-P 240 in stock but have only received a very, very small number of silver cameras to date. The scarcity of the silver model gave me ample time to think about my options; I am not sure I'll upgrade my M9P to an MP anymore. I've made a few tests with a M240 and M9P to compare color rendering and I am not convinced... So I might get the M-A instead. Or a Hassy 503...
