I love the way it feels in my hand and the sharpness of the lens is amazing. Just curious as to what in-camera settings you use for film mode, color space, saturation and contrast. Thanks in advance for any feedback. Amy I just have all settings on standard. Color space I use is sRGB. I shoot RAW and Fine JPG. On the standard setting you won't see any sharpening artifacts in the JPG files, For images that need highlight correction or white balance correction I use the RAW file, though it doesn't have that exact nice Leica look. I'm wondering if some of the sharpness issues I'm having are due to artifacts because I have the JPG set to superfine. I'm going to change that and see what happens. I learned much about Lightroom and how to work with. But even after > 2 years of experience with LR I couldn´t top a good ooc-jpeg of my X2 (same sensor like X-Vario) with RAW development. In contrast to the more expensive Leicas, like Q and M, the X-Series have outstanding jpeg-quality. That was the reason for selling my Q and buying a used X2 again! And if I could find a good X-Vario I will buy it probably too. Its a shame that Leica doesn´t develop the x-Series further. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
