Photos attached below. The curious thing is the typeface used for the Leica text. It resembles the modern Leica font, as one can see on M6 and many other R cameras. luigi bertolotti Posted September 1, 2014 Share #2 Posted September 1, 2014 Is the first Leicameter - Weston model 627, a very tasty collectible - the writing is normal (probably, being built by Weston, they hadn't the dies to make Leitz-style fonts... or maybe they even weren't allowed to do...)
