Regrettably the end of the month has come around again and the 72nd Barnack's Monthly must close. Again the thread was filled with a wonderful array of shots and excellent ideas and interpretations of the theme and this month we posted over 300 wonderful pictures so thank you all for your enthusiastic response and please keep it up!

Thank you to everyone who helped make September's Barnack's Monthly a success by either posting, thanking, or just looking and I hope you enjoyed doing it and will do it again. A special thank you to those who posted for the first time in the thread and, if you did, please post more because we'd love to see your pictures!

This month saw the introduction of the 'Most Popular Images' panel at the right hand side of the forum's front page where Andreas has set up a link to the seven images with the most Thank You's over the previous 14 days and I'm pleased to say that your photos posted in Barnack's Monthly featured heavily in the new panel. So that you for that too.:)

The theme for Barnack's Monthly for October 2014 is: "Shadows" and you can find it at this link. It's a popular theme that we had 3 years ago and it seems like time to run it again. (Photos posted in the previous shadows thread are of course eligible in this month's thread.)

I really do hope you will follow the link and post some of your pictures.

Thank you all again and see you in the new thread!

Pete.
