Lee Martin Posted August 23, 2014 Share #3 Posted August 23, 2014 Nicely composed. It creates a totally different mood and feel between the two as if it's two totally different pictures. The black and white held my attention for longer
Waleke Posted August 23, 2014 Share #4 Posted August 23, 2014 B&W for me
Hank Taylor Posted August 24, 2014 Author Share #5 Posted August 24, 2014 Appreciate all 3 of you Louis, Lee and Waleke for you opinions, yes I do agree, the B/W came out a better shot. Thanks Hank
A miller Posted August 24, 2014 Share #6 Posted August 24, 2014 Very nice, Hank. I think the color would work better if you de-saturated it. I think the blues could be toned down quite a bit. You may try from more of an analog look by de-saturating and warming up the warm balance. Then adding a bit more contrast. Just some random suggestions that I have no idea could do the trick. But trying to give the color version its day in court Best, Adam
pauledell Posted August 24, 2014 Share #7 Posted August 24, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hank, Both are excellent versions with each presenting a different feeling. I, too, prefer the b&w version. Paul

A miller Posted August 25, 2014 Share #9 Posted August 25, 2014 this is much better for me, Hank. I think it suits the mood quite well and gives the image a old fashioned feel. I like this better than the BW
Alberti Posted August 28, 2014 Share #10 Posted August 28, 2014 agree very much with the miller: now the accent is on the looks and not the headdress of the guy in the front.
Avatar Posted August 28, 2014 Share #11 Posted August 28, 2014 I like the picture and from the start (oddly for me) preferred it in color. The way the colors work together adds a nice element to the image. What are the odds both Adam and me like the color better?
