Our fellow forum member, Steve Kessel, was good enough to not only deduce from one of my posts a couple of weeks ago that I would be traveling to London last week, but also to reach out and extend an invitation to meet up and show me around some areas of London with with he was familiar.

Steve was generous enough to meet me in Canary Wharf last Monday evening and take a ride (or two or three, I really wasn't keeping up) with me slightly off the beaten path to the Ridley Market and then on to Stamford Hill for a tasty dinner.

I was delighted to meet Steve and get to know him. He is an excellent photographer and a wonderful tour guide. So I highly recommend looking him up the next time you are passing through London.

Here are some photos from our outing.

#3 The entrance to the Ridley Market, which is a diverse market that seems to have a strong contingent of Muslims and Ghanaians.
