This morning I was at the press event to launch the new permanent exhibition of the Olympic Cauldron at the Museum of London. I took along my M and 50mm Summilux, anticipating slightly dark conditions. Unfortunately the exhibition gallery was very, very dark, so ISO 3200 was the order of the day. No tripod, no flash, of course.

Here are some of the shots, including one the museum's Major Exhibitions Project Manager, Elpiniki Psalti who is from Greece and was proud to show me the special, burnished copper petal dedicated to her native country. You can read the full story here.

Thanks Mike, very well shot and interesting series.

Regards

At last I seem to be bonding with the M240. As long as I leave the viewfinder at home I can pretend it is an M9 with super-bright framelines!

With that black tape on it, it could almost be an M9-P!

Black tape off now. My M has come out of the closet and is sporting both red dot and M. This is to allow M9 owners to feel superior.
