JohnJWhite Posted July 13, 2014 Share #21 Posted July 13, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thank you pop, i shall start my seek and acquire mission for a VF2 I bought two of the Olympus. Good to have a spare. They are relatively cheap. So I put the eye cup on one and the other goes without for when I'm wearing glasses. Also, Olympus sells the identical microphone if you're into that sort of thing. Much cheaper than the Leica branded version.
Advertisement Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 Hi JohnJWhite, Take a look here Will Leica upgrade its Visoflex (EVF 2) ?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jedi996sps Posted July 13, 2014 Share #22 Posted July 13, 2014 Hope you find one although I am told they ar hard to find these days so some are getting the over priced Leica EVF. Staples in the US was selling the VF-2 at very good prices about 6-8 months ago. Have not checked lately. Thanks. There are a number for sale on ebay, at or around the £100 mark. On the M240 it would appear that the evf is like marmite. Having the sony a7r i really like the evf for critical focusing, but also fell for the ovf for on the M240 which i tried last week at a london dealer..... i left him my m8 and left with the m240
