jdlaing Posted June 10, 2014 Share #1 Posted June 10, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) For some reason I cannot change the date on my M-240. I have tried everything I know to change it. I have removed the MF Grip/GPS in case that was causing the difference. I have changed cards, battery and reset the camera. The date setting window shows the proper date as today and the time is correct but EXIF shows 4 days behind. The date window at the first level also shows the wrong date. All other settings are okay. Any suggestions?

jdlaing Posted June 13, 2014 Author Share #6 Posted June 13, 2014 Success. Left the battery out and when re-installed the camera was reset and the date is now able to be changed. I put the bottom plate on without using the grip. I suspect the grip is the culprit and will check that again. Had a nice conversation with Leica NJ Tech Help and that was what he suggested prior to talking to the Service Department. No road trip for my camera. jdlaing Posted June 14, 2014 Author Share #7 Posted June 14, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) It is the Grip causing the malfunction.
LuFo Posted June 14, 2014 Share #8 Posted June 14, 2014 I have had similar problems. Is the grip going on a road trip or did Leica Tech help indicate that there may be software solution? Lutz
jdlaing Posted June 14, 2014 Author Share #9 Posted June 14, 2014 I have had similar problems. Is the grip going on a road trip or did Leica Tech help indicate that there may be software solution? Lutz The Leica Tech indicated they had not heard of the problem. I'll be checking back with them next week now that I've found the culprit.
